This blog explores sustainable viticulture in France through hands-on experience with winemakers around the country and by way of comparative tastings in Paris.  It deals with the challenges of sustainable practice, but accepts that a natural ecosystem free of agrochemicals facilitates an honest expression of place.

It is also an account of my creative adventures in wine, from Far Niente to Hermitage via Kermit Lynch, and a flexibly designed life in Paris.
